Head of Cyber Security

A Quantitative Finance SaaS company requires a Head of Cyber Security to mature and enhance the firm's cyber security technology and governance. The role is a blend of strategy, technical leadership, team and operational management. It would suit a security professional with a solid background in security engineering (achieved in a Cloud-based environment) looking to take a "step up" into leadership.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in:

• Hands-on security engineering
• Securing cloud-based applications (AWS)
• Operational security experience encompassing; DLP, SecOps/DFIR, and IAM
• Defining and implementing security policies in a regulated environment
• Technical team leadership
• Maturing and enhancing a global security strategy

The role reports to the "c-suite" so the incoming Head of Cyber Security will need to possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Hybrid working (3 days in the office). Highly competitive base, bonus and stock options.
