Head of Disposition (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the technical management of our scheduling department.
• You will be responsible for planning and scheduling local and long-distance transport as well as the corresponding order creation in the system.
• You will also be responsible for dispatching drivers from our own and external fleets and placing orders with external fleets.
• You are responsible for planning the deployment of drivers and equipment.
• The continuous improvement of processes is a matter of course for you.
• Creation & implementation of KPIs.
• You develop our transport division with the respective division managers in a customer-oriented manner.
• You will report directly to the overall coffee operations management.

Your requirements

• Completed commercial and/or technical vocational training (e.g. as a forwarding agent or forwarding and logistics service manager) - but you are also welcome as a career changer with a passion for dispatching lorry transports.
• (First) experience in leading teams.
• Several years of experience in the scheduling and invoicing of transport services.
• Experience in the area of transport key figures.
• Experience in the use of forwarding software.
• Customs knowledge is an advantage.
• Reliability and ability to work under pressure.
• Self-reliance and sense of responsibility.
• Confident handling of MS Office.
• Very good written and spoken German, good knowledge of English.
