Head of Information Technology

Our client, a startup iGaming operator is looking for an Information Security Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain incident response processes, including root cause analysis and postmortems.
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure on platforms like Azure or GCP.
• Support business units, such as the Data team, to meet all business needs.
• Automate cloud resource provisioning, configuration management, and deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Implement security best practices for cloud and infrastructure, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and encryption protocols.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and product managers, to ensure infrastructure aligns with business requirements.

Required Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of Russian and English languages.
• 4+ years of experience in SRE/Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Programming or scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, HTTP, VPN, etc.).
• Experience with message queues and data pipelines (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Exposure to database administration and deployment (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with disaster recovery and high-availability strategies.
