As the Head of Product Engineering for Harnessing Operations EMEA,

You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product engineering function across the region. In this leadership role, you will lead a team of Product Engineering Managers operating in various Harnessing Operations locations throughout EMEA. Your focus will be on driving excellence in product development while ensuring alignment with customer needs and exceeding quality standards.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations and sales, to deliver world-class products and solutions. This role demands both a strategic mindset and hands-on technical expertise, alongside outstanding leadership and cooperation skills.

In this role, you are reporting directly to the VP of Harnessing Operations. You will have the flexibility to be based in any of our Harnessing Operations locations across EMEA.

Your tasks
  • RFQ Management: Oversee the entire RFQ (Request for Quotation) process, including RFQ funnel processing, clarification, BOM (Bill of Materials) adaptation, cost calculation, and feedback submission. Ensure the completion of product design approvals (BOM, drawings) and manage change requests and technical assessments for complaints.
  • Product Optimization: Drive continuous product improvement by defining and implementing preferred components and optimizing existing designs to enhance performance and cost-efficiency.
  • High-Touch Project Support: Provide technical expertise for high-priority projects, including direct customer support during visits and collaborating with the sales team to address customer needs.
  • Technology Development: Lead the specification of new technologies and identify necessary developments to keep our product portfolio at the cutting edge of industry standards.
  • Team Leadership and Growth: Serve as the technical leader for the Product Engineering team across local units in the EMEA region.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Strong professional experience in Product Engineering and leadership role in an international company.
  • Fluent in English.

  • Proven ability to define a clear vision and roadmap that is challenging but achievable, motivate your team, and collaborate effectively with international teams.
