Core Responsibilities

The Head of Product is accountable for ensuring a clear line of sight from business strategy to digital product execution for the Colleague CFO user group (including Finance, Legal, Tax & Trade, Business Service Ops, and Government & Public Affairs).

Working very closely with the CFO-LT members and their LTs, plus broader business partners to understand the what & why, articulating the key problems to be solved and creating clear value hypotheses & investment cases, including accountability for ensuring agreed P&L impacts are aligned with business partners.

Collaborating with Digital Technology on the how, finding innovative solutions to the CFO problem statements, aligning with overall LEGO Group architecture & design principles. In order to help maintain consistent value delivery, working with business and digital technology to identify required capabilities and skills is important.

Setting clear goals with associated outcomes and key results (OKRs), developing close partnerships with partners in the business, with strong indirect leadership of the CFO product teams to ensure the digital products are achieving their OKRs.

Play your part in our team succeeding

Working closely with the Digital Portfolio & Delivery Office (Digital Leadership Team) and other Heads of Product, you will lead product ways of working in your user group, working with your business customers and product leaders to identify where we need to change and ensuring that we create consistency and alignment across the LEGO Group in our approach to digital product development.

This role sits within the Digital Finance, CFO & PPC partnering team. You will be part of the Leadership Team for this function but will also work in close collaboration with the broader CFO-LT. This role has indirect leadership for the CFO product organisation.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Significant experience in product management and leadership, interacting with diverse technical and non-technical groups spanning all organisational levels
  • Global and finance experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong end-user focus and ability to understand and translate the voice of the user into product strategy
  • Experience in driving an IT-focused product organisation into a modern user-centric product-focused organization
  • Strong partner management skills, and experience inspiring change in a complex & fast paced environment

Nice to have qualifications include:

  • Experience in digital tools, typically used by CFO functions (e.g. OneStream, Power BI & Process Optimisation)
  • Resilience to be pragmatic and solve problems when things inevitably don't go to plan
  • Can be flexible where new ways of working need to be formed
