We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Head of Upper School who will promote a culture of excellence, be passionate about the transformational power of education, and have the drive and skillset to secure the very best outcomes for our senior pupils.

The successful candidate will not only be a highly visible leader within the school but will also establish themselves as an outward-facing trusted professional for the wider school community.

We welcome applications from existing Headteachers wanting to further their career in a successful Independent School and ambitious Deputy Headteachers looking to take their next step in senior leadership.

Salary: Highly competitive and negotiable

Contract: Permanent

Location: Liverpool

Start date: September 2025

Purpose of the role:

To strategically and operationally lead and develop Auckland College Upper School, in line with the Auckland values. To give every pupil the highest quality education and to ensure the highest possible standards of academic achievement and personal development.

Reports to: Executive Headteacher
