About Us:We are a small, dynamic company specializing in General Haulage with curtain sider trailers. Our team is dedicated and hardworking, and we're looking for a like-minded individual with a can-do attitude to join us. This role involves maximum hours and includes weekend work.

Shift Patterns:

• Thursday to Monday (Rest days: Tuesday and Wednesday)
• Average Shift Length: 13 hours per day

Compensation:

• £180 per shift (inclusive of all hours)
• £900 per week
• £46,000 per year

Start Time: Between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM (must be flexible)

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a curtain side lorry to transport goods to various destinations
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and adherence to safety regulations
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
• Ensure all delivery documentation is accurately completed
• Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Excellent driving record with no traffic violations
• Valid LGV C+E licence
• Valid CPC / DQC Card
• Valid Digital tachograph card
• Minimum of 3 years LGV C+E experience
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and driving long distances
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to undergo a day's training to familiarise with trailers and equipment
