• Support the development of new FISH service offerings

• Perform cytogenetic techniques (FISH) semi-automated and manual staining

• Perform the interpretation of FISH results under the supervision of the doctor in charge

• Prepare workstation, instrumentation and maintenance on instruments and/or equipment daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually. Ability to adequately maintain accurate records and both adhere to Standard Operating Procedures

• Monitor reagents, material and supplies

• Collaborate with other team members to improve procedures

• Adhere to safety and occupational health policies and standards

• Routine decalcification, processing, embedding, microtomy and re-embedding of human tissue specimens from patients enrolled in clinical trials.

• Maintain proper storage conditions and traceability of Histology blocks and slides (stained and unstained).

Histology Cytogenetic Technologists are the most successful at Labcorp with:

• At least 3 years of previous cytogenetic (FISH) experience

• Fluency in French

• Diploma: Medical Technologist (CFC holder) OR Pharmaceutical Biology Technologist (CFC holder) OR Medical Technologist (Swiss State School of Medical Technologist Degree holder) OR Medical Technologist (BTS, DUT, IUT Degree holder)
