Salary: £16+ per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Temporary Housing Support Worker to join our team, specialising in supported housing for young people aged 16-18. This role involves key working with up to 8 young people, providing essential support and guidance to help them achieve independence and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one key work support to up to 8 young people.
- Assist young people in developing life skills and accessing education, employment, and training opportunities.
- Conduct regular assessments and create personalised support plans.
- Liaise with external agencies and service providers to coordinate additional support.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions and services provided.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a support worker role, preferably with young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help young people.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Knowledge of local services and resources in Greater Manchester is an advantage.
