HR Director, London

Are you in a Senior HR position, ready to take the leap into a Director position? Or perhaps already working in a Director role, but want to take your career to the next level?

Here at LADbible, we are hiring a HR Director role for our London office to oversee all our HR, Talent & Office team; including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

What are we looking for?

The HR Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing LADbible Group's people strategy. This senior leadership position involves implementing strategic initiatives, driving organisational success and change and being a trusted advisor for the Board, C-Suite and Business Leaders.

  1. Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies alongside Heads of HR; aligned with the company's business objectives.
  2. Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team on key organisational and management issues.
  3. Spearhead our global presence in the US, including working with our HR counterparts in multiple offices.
  4. Performance Management: Oversee and guide the Head's of HR to design and implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance and drive organisational effectiveness.
  5. Provide coaching and guidance to the executive leadership team.
  6. Training and Development: Provide professional leadership, support and development to our existing HR & Talent team, in order to increase knowledge, share best practice and ensure professional standards are met.
  7. Drive continuous learning and professional development opportunities for employees at all levels.
  8. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all local employment laws and regulations across the UK, US & Ireland & any other required jurisdictions.
  9. Guide the delivery of HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and support organisational goals.
  10. Form strong relationships with C suite and the Board, to ensure that the team perspective is fully represented in decision making.
  11. HR Metrics and Reporting: Oversee the HR team to analyse and review statistical reports to identify trends, so that key issues and resources are adjusted accordingly.
  12. Prepare and present reports to c-suite on HR-related matters.
  13. Utilise data and analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

Experience we are looking for:

  1. Significant HR expertise: Deep understanding of HR principles and best practices, which covers knowledge of HR laws and regulations, recruitment, compensation, employee development, and employee relations.
  2. Solid track record of successfully implementing HR strategies & implementing change programs successfully.
  3. Previous experience within a similar industry, ideally media, digital or a tech-focused business & have managed / led on acquisitions & integrations.
  4. Strong Leadership skills: Proven track record of managing HR teams across multiple locations. Coaching, mentoring & performance management where appropriate. Ability to make decisions quickly and correctly, especially in time-critical situations.
  5. A real hands-on attitude, someone that can be proactive as well as responsive to changes across the business.
  6. The confidence and gravitas to influence, empower and partner with stakeholders up to Board level.
  7. Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment and managing a number of projects at any one time.
