One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Hyper V/VMware Consultant.

Role is based in Copenhagen, some remote work may be allowed.

Role Description:

As a VMware Expert, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing virtualization solutions based on VMware technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure requirements, develop robust virtualization architectures, and provide expert guidance on VMware best practices. Your expertise will play a critical role in optimizing system performance, ensuring high availability, and driving efficiency within our organization and production sites.

Key responsibilities:

Designing, implementing, and managing virtualization solutions based on VMware technologies Consult and collaborate with infrastructure teams to assess business requirements and evaluate existing infrastructure Provide expert guidance on VMware best practices Key activities:

Design phase:

Develop virtualization strategies to meet organizational goals.

Support the design and optimize virtualization architectures to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of critical systems and applications.

Design & Implement phase:

Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and best practice guidelines.

Support the evaluation and recommendation on thirdparty tools and technologies to enhance the virtualization environment.

Handover phase:

Provide expert guidance and mentorship to infrastructure teams on VMware best practices, performance optimization, and troubleshooting techniques.
