Role Overview:

We are seeking an IDM Developer with a strong background in IDM platform development, analysis, and support. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the analysis, development, and maintenance of our IDM platform, with the opportunity to work on other systems. You will play a key role in managing small change work items and providing L3 support, ensuring the stability and efficiency of our IDM platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide lead analysis, development, and support primarily for the IDM platform.

• Handle day-to-day production issues and maintenance, offering L3 support as required.

• Manage and deliver a pipeline of small change work items through all stages of the IT life cycle:

  • Requirements capture and documentation.

  • Development according to standards.

  • Testing, including regression testing.

  • Packaging and deployment.

• Mentor FD L2 support resources and provide handovers for changes.

• Analyze business data and process requirements to support the IDM platform.

• Undertake design and development changes for the IDM platform.

• Advise on implementation approaches for IDM-related projects.

• Conduct system testing for the IDM platform and support user acceptance testing.

• Prepare release plans and manage changes in IDM platform-controlled environments (UAT, PROD).

This role may require working shift hours such as earlier starts and being on-call outside of normal working hours, including weekends.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven track record of IDM business, systems analysis, and implementation work.

• Experience working with users, senior management, and stakeholders across multiple disciplines.

• Ability to manage multiple work streams and assignments, reprioritizing as necessary.

• Experience dealing with third-party in-house/vendor interfaces and defining new interfaces and reports on the IDM platform.

• Coordination and support of UAT testing.

• Strong investigative and diagnostic skills in the IDM platform support environment.

• In-depth knowledge of IDM functions, including normal and exception processing.

• Proven ability to coordinate application testing.

• Good knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and service-desk tools for issue tracking and requirements maintenance.

• Experience in analysing defects and documenting solutions.

• Strong knowledge of operating systems and Active Directory architecture.

• Familiarity with MS-SQL Server, Oracle databases, SQL, and VB.NET.

Desirable Skills:

• L3 support coordination in a complex IDM environment.

• Experience working with complex Middleware solutions and joint issue diagnostics.

• Investment banking experience.

• Use of the Ikasan integration platform for exception handling and investigation.

• Experience in software configuration management, WebServices, and understanding of LDAP.

• Microsoft application development.

• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.

• Knowledge of C#, HTML, C++, Powershell, and Angular.
