Indirect Tax- Senior Manager

A global financial services company with headquarters in London is looking for an Indirect Tax Senior Manager to join the growing tax team. The company is one of the world's leading providers of financial markets infrastructure and delivers data analytics and news to customers in over 170 countries.

Your new role

In your new role as an Indirect Tax Senior Manager you will play a pivotal role in influencing the indirect tax affairs of the organisation with a strong focus on its UK operations. You will be a true subject matter expert and will act as a proactive business partner to ensure the group's tax strategy is implemented throughout the business.

1. Provide strategic support and advice to the Global Indirect Tax Lead
2. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the business
3. Review UK partial exemption methodology
4. Support the indirect tax reporting team with compliance advisory matters, typically UK VAT
5. Manage LATAM and India indirect tax matters whilst supporting local personnel
6. Acting as the main point of contact for HMRC enquiries
7. Assisting the wider finance team through audits

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this position you will:

1. ACA or CTA qualified with a proven track record of managing an indirect tax team
2. Excellent technical ability and understanding of UK VAT regime
3. Experience with LATAM and Indian indirect tax matters is advantageous but not essential
4. Proactive, strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
