Job Description - Industrial Relations Business Partner (15705)
Location: Lisbon or Barcelona based. Travel will be required within the network and to Luton Airport.

Team
Working as part of a small team you will play a key role in mobilising, organising, and influencing stakeholders. Strong relationship and communication skills are essential, as you will work with a diverse group of representatives from across our network. The ability to quickly adapt to cultural differences and expectations, as well as the ability to work effectively as a team, is critical to the success of our team.
What you'll be doing
As the SME focal point, the primary role is to ensure positive and productive relationships with unions and works council partners while leading industrial agreements, managing their negotiation, and recording and filing related data. The role involves balancing challenge and engagement while adhering to the overall easyJet strategy. The SME also works with HRBP and the central IR team to integrate the IR agenda and raise IR awareness among line management. The SME is responsible for staying up to date with employee legislation, ensuring compliance, and managing any changes through policy updates and coordination with Service Operations. Additionally, they manage relationships with local employment law providers.

What you'll bring to the team
The team will benefit from the addition of a highly skilled and experienced IR specialist with a strong focus on business and a commercial mindset. Proven ability to balance cost, quality, and fairness to deliver the best value for easyJet. Delivery-focused and possess a creative approach to problem solving, with previous IR experience including negotiations with trade unions and work councils across Europe.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the ability to translate legal and negotiated IR concerns into practical implications for easyJet and effectively handle changes in a fast-paced European setting. Strong data analysis and persuasive problem-solving skills, enabling them to drive change and improvement. A successful track record in project management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills is required. Excellent people skills, and ability to work well under pressure. The candidate must be able to command respect and credibility within the organization and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and be willing and able to travel when necessary.

Location & Hours of Work
This role will be hybrid working, which may include some travel around Europe.
