Infrastructure DevOps Automation Engineer - Ansible

Our client is seeking Infrastructure DevOps Automation Engineer in Sheffield, UK. This is a hybrid role - 2 days weekly onsite.

You will be assisting the team in deploying Ansible Automation Platform in the environment including installing and configuring automation controller validating features in Ansible Automation Platform.

• Experience automating application build, configuration, and maintenance - Integration of environment tooling/apps along the lines of SMTP, Active Directory, SIEM, ITSM, etc.
• Needs to be able to create Ansible Playbooks and PowerShell scripts from scratch, given requirements.
• Competent in configuration, build, use of GitHub and REST API's.
• Hands on engineering knowledge of the Windows Operating System.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proven experience of working in a global scale highly regulated environment with focus on security, resilience, and automation.
• Strong skills in Windows operating systems and support of large infrastructures at a senior level
• Strong experience in developing with at least one Scripting language.
