Integration Developer

Location: Chelmsford, UK (2 Days Per Week in Office)Type: Permanent, Full-Time

With offices in North America, Ireland, Europe, and China, Woodland is committed to innovation and excellence. Following the successful launch of there online services they continue to invest in building out our digital and integration services.

Role Purpose: Join our dynamic Digital & Technology Services team as an Integration Developer. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop, manage, and test integrations using enterprise-grade tools, ensuring seamless data flow between key operational and back-office platforms. This role offers hands-on development, management of offshore resources, and international exposure across varied business lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and support integration solutions using Boomi middleware, adhering to our standards and design principles.
  • Interpret functional specifications and collaborate with specialists to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement creative solutions to work around system constraints.
  • Ensure quality assurance and testing of solutions, maintaining documentation for integration processes and data flows.
  • Provide mutual support to other developers and contribute to cutover planning and execution.
  • Participate in integration process design reviews and resolve support incidents, suggesting improvements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 2 years of development experience using Boomi or similar integration platforms (Mulesoft, Workato, BizTalk, etc.).
  • Experience with ERP or WMS integration, handling transactional and master data.
  • Proficient with API standards (REST, SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
  • Strong understanding of designing highly available technical services with parallel processing.
  • Excellent communicator, proactive, methodical, and thorough, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Open-minded, flexible, and excels in a team environment across geographical and cultural boundaries.
