LONDON
Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, and is home to a wide range of teams. Our open space is ideal for collaborative work and sharing ideas. We also have a large outdoor terrace, which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the FARFETCH Advertising team to convert new business and scale revenue amongst a long tail of SMB partners.
Luxury brands leverage FARFETCH Advertising services to elevate brand awareness at every stage of the FARFETCH customer journey. Harnessing unparalleled consumer insights from the largest luxury online audience in the world; FARFETCH Advertising devise data-driven marketing strategies that power full-funnel marketing activations creating global impact at scale. We help brands maximize engagement amongst existing followers, prospect new customers and develop new audiences on FARFETCH and beyond.
With a well-established list of existing accounts, FARFETCH Advertising is now looking to supercharge growth by converting a large pool of untapped prospects with new opportunities and advertising products. As Business Development Manager, you will end-to-end manage this ongoing initiative (from strategy to execution) to deliver upon an individual sales target.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Build and grow an extensive pipeline of new business with end-to-end accountability
- Leverage data, insights, and industry trends to identify areas of opportunity and tailor outreach
- Independently implement tools and techniques to systematise prospecting and pipeline management
- Work closely with Media Ops and Data teams to refine ad offering based on prospect feedback
- Be an internal expert and advocate for your accounts, working cross-functionally to ensure marketing programmes complement the partner's commercial objectives
- Build deep relationships with senior brand executives through exceptional customer service
- Considerable front-line sales experience with a record of meeting/exceeding new business targets
- 'Hunter' sales skills with high levels of resilience and resourcefulness; experienced in cold prospecting and objection handling
- Excels in autonomous/entrepreneurial work and comfortable navigating uncharted territory
- Strong experience in digital marketing or advertising (Saas, Adtech, Martech background beneficial), ideally with specific acumen in retail media
- Preferred but not essential: Italian speaker, experience in luxury fashion
- Available to start latest June 2025
