Interim Team Manager - Children and Families Team

South Bristol

Pay rate up to up to £45 per hour maximum

Hoop Social Work are currently supporting Bristol City Council to recruit an Interim Team Manager to start ASAP for an initial 3 month contract Pay rate for this role is paid at £45 Umbrella company. This role is largely office based due to the nature of the role.

The overall purpose of the Team Manager role is to ensure that the work of the team is correctly focused, within the policy and procedural frameworks of the council, and is consistent with the relevant legal and regulatory frameworks in their service area. The Team Manager should ensure that there is a calm and ordered approach to the work, with team members working collaboratively to improve the lives of children and young people. It is the role of the Team Manager to create these conditions in the team, whilst operationally managing the work of the team.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

  • Team Management experience within front line children and family social work services
  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England
  • Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
  • 3 Years of referencing - Bristol City Council requires sight of performance based references upon CV submission
  • Driving license with access to a car
