IT Business Systems Manager (Coins ERP)
Barnsley
Up to £70,000 + Car Allowance
Your new role
As the IT business systems manager, you will lead the planning, implementation and management of our business systems to ensure they meet our strategic goals of our business. You will work closely with wider business stakeholders to ensure our strategy continues to develop, mature and deliver.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic plan for developing our business systems in line with the wider business strategy.
Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to improve business processes and performance
Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on system performance, project status, and strategic initiatives
Lead and manage IT projects, from conception through to implementation and support, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
As project manager, be responsible for the creation and direction of the project team (either as a direct or indirect report), holding regular status meetings and tracking progress against plan.
Chair routine steering committees for strategic IT projects, reporting status to the management board and other key stakeholders.
Experience of delivering project using different methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc)
Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimisation of business systems, including COINs ERP, Cascade HR, and other enterprise applications.
Ensure system integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, embedding a collaborative and innovative team environment
Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers.
Negotiate contracts and ensure service levels are met.
Embed a culture of continual service improvement
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
Recommend and implement enhancements to existing systems and processes
Experience needed
Strong knowledge and experience with leading ERP implementations
Strong understanding and experience of finance and procurement processes
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a related role.
Proven experience in managing business systems and enterprise applications
Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Agile or relevant business system certifications
