We are recruiting for a Desktop Engineer on contract to work for a leading Government organisation based in Lossiemouth, Moray.

Will be required to drive on site vehicle

37.5hr week (Mon - Fri) hours tbc

Oncall/standby required outwith working hours incl weekends

Must live within commuting distance of Lossiemouth site

As an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT services and equipment within your assigned Hub site and surrounding spoke sites.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Queue Ticket Management: Efficiently manage and update tickets assigned to your queue, ensuring service levels are maintained as per the contract.

Hub Stock Management: Oversee asset management, including scanning items in and out of locations, in accordance with contractual obligations.

Disposal Management: Effectively manage the disposal of equipment through your Hub, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

Hardware Repairs: Triage and perform hardware repairs on in-warranty equipment, liaising with vendors for parts and returns as needed.

Locker Replenishments: Replenish lockers with necessary equipment as per contractual agreements.

Service Improvement: Identify and highlight potential service issues or improvements to your Team Leader.

Clearance: Must have or be able to obtain SC clearance.

Must be a UK National (or dual national) with a UK passport.
