IT Infrastructure Engineer (Telephony)

Location: Bristol- office based

Salary: £50,000

Contract: 12-month FTC

Requirements: Full and valid UK driving licence and own car

A Bristol based business are looking for a Project focused IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The primary focus of this role is to support the implementation of technical projects across the business, with a principal focus on coordinating telephony upgrades across multiple sites.

IT Infrastructure Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical hands-on resource to configure the new telephony system and associated infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the IT team, project management office, and third-party vendors.
• Participate in project meetings, providing facilitation or technical support as needed.
• Report directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager, providing regular updates on project status and progress on resolving any issues.

IT Infrastructure Engineer Experience required:

• Strong understanding of IP Networks, including network switching, Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, and other networking technologies.
• Experience phone systems, ideally both on-premise and cloud-based.
• Experience working with third-party vendors.
• Experience working on High Availability systems
• Microsoft Server 2016/19/22
• Hyper V
• Mobile Device Managers such as Intune.
• Experience with VOIP applications.
