IT Operations Team Lead - Network Systems

Your new role
We are looking for an IT Operations Team leader (Network Systems) to join an established team to assist in further driving efficiencies and governance within IT operations functions. You will have technical oversight of the network infrastructure and end user management services with the organisation. This role requires technical hands-on knowledge as you will be providing guidance on engineering resources and carrying out technical tasks yourself.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience overseeing an IT operations team and working in a cloud-first organisation. You will need a proven track record working in a user-centric organisation, as well as a good understanding of Matrix management systems.The role is a new requirement, and the client needs a candidate to join as soon as possible, delivering across set responsibilities and role requirements.

This role requires a deep understanding of:

• Hands-on Network Experience
• Resource Management
• Knowledge of ITSM management
• GDPR and cybersecurity best practice
• Experience in Modern Infrastructure
• Strong background in Cloud Technology

This position requires a candidate with the ability to think strategically and tactically, communicate effectively, execute with precision and be process driven (with an eye for capturing processes. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting and enhancing IT infrastructure.

What you'll get in return
This role is paying £500 a day Inside IR35. You will be working on a hybrid basic (3 days a week) in the heart of London for one of the leading local governments in the country.

For this position you will need ACTIVE Security clearance and NPPV3 clearance.
