IT Security Engineer

IT Security Engineer vacancy for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Contributing to the design, implementation, and support of process automation strategies within the team
• Collaborating with service stakeholders to analyze and implement new features
• Implementing and maintaining improvements and new features in IT Security Services
• Analyzing and resolving errors, incidents, and troubleshoot user issues
• Maintaining system technical documentation, primarily using Confluence
• Ensuring the application of best practices and availability for on-call duty

Your experience/knowledge:

• Expertise in IT Security Engineering topics such as Browsing, PAM, PKI, and Multifactor Authentication
• Experience in developing architectures, concepts, and processes related to IT security
• Hands-on experience with 2nd and 3rd level operational or engineering-level IT Security Services
• Proficient in Windows and Linux administration and experienced with automation tools such as Ansible, Python, Bash/Shell, Terraform, GIT, REST, Regular Expressions
• University degree or higher technical education
• Languages: German and English, fluent in written and spoken

• Proactive, solution-oriented, and results-driven with strong abstract and conceptual thinking skills.
• Ability to independently assess and prioritize tasks and requests, and resolve outstanding issues.
