Job Description

IT Support Analyst
Location: Lincoln (On Site)
6 Month Contract
Rate: £160 per day (Inside IR35)

Skills: Windows 10/11, SCCM, InTune, VOIP, Active Directory, ITIL

We are looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst on an initial 6 month contract for a leading public sector organisation. This is an office based role and you will work 5 days a week in Lincoln.

In this role, you will work on resolving technical issues swiftly and effectively, ensuring systems remain operational and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed advice and guidance to all users on effective use of IT systems, products, and services.
  • Manage and maintain endpoints using technologies like InTune, SCCM, Knox, and Azure-based administration.
  • Oversee the Airwave estate using Radio Manager.
  • Manage the Windows 10 OS life cycle, including application testing, security control, and feature release updates.
  • Support the deployment of VOIP telephony, laptops, mobiles, and other hardware technologies.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date, including asset registers and technical knowledge bases.
  • Provide out-of-hours support through the IT on-call service rota, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Contribute to project implementations with your technical expertise.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working within an ITIL environment.
  • Proficient in managing mobile devices using Intune.
  • Strong knowledge of VOIP technology.
  • Expertise in managing endpoints and software deployment using SCCM, Active Directory, and Intune.
  • Experience with Radio Manager for maintaining Airwave systems.
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10, O365) and applications.
  • Knowledge of network topologies, WAN/LAN, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, including security groups, organisational units, and group policies.
