Kubernetes Engineer

for our customer, a major banking organisation in Basel, we are seeing a Senior Kubernetes Engineer

3 days a week onsite
Remote from outside Switzerland only possible on occasion (IF APPLYING FROM OUTSIDE SWITZERLAND: THIS REQUIRES RELOCATION)

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in an OpenShift environment using GitOps practices.
• Utilise Shell Scripting, Python, or Golang for automation and management tasks.
• Subject matter expert (SME) in OpenShift and container technology
• CICD
• Proficiency in Bash, Python or Go
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems administration experience.
• Proven track record in providing third-level support and design input .

Nice to have:

• Experience with automation tools, preferably Ansible
• Experience with systems monitoring, ideally Prometheus.
• Logging experience with Grafana Loki.
• Experience with Ceph Storage and OpenShift Data Foundation
