As Lab Scientist you will play an essential part in the success of the Media Performance Characterization Group and help the company to provide customers with the individual solutions to their challenges.

This position is part of Technology Lab Group and will be located Onsite in Bad Kreuznach, Germany.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Test preparation

• Performing tests

• Test completion

• Be part of projects

• Cooperate with peer departments like R&D, Sales and Manufacturing

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Training/Apprenticeship (or BSc degree) as physics / chemical laboratory assistant or in microbiology, biotechnology

• Practical ability to perform test work and execute work instructions

• Knowledge of fundamental laboratory techniques and measurement methods

• Knowledge in practical microbiology

• Very good German

• English skills in written and spoken

• Good technical report writing skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with lab specific techniques like Microscopy, SEM, FTIR, TOC

• Operation of automated test rigs that simulate Food and Beverage
