Lafayette DMC for FIT & VIP is moving upwards with a new exciting project, confirming its mission in providing tailor made ground services in France.

Do you understand what a discerning traveler from USA wants to discover in France? Are you at ease with highly cultivated, knowledgeable and wealthy foreign clients? Do you like being proud of the work you do and of being an expert in luxury travel in France?

We are hiring a new team member:

- Highly organized,

- Excellent English,

- Experience (5 years) in luxury DMC or travel agency,

- Pro-active, creative, curious, good knowledge of France as destination for North American travelers,

- Also, at ease with numbers and basic accounting as this is an important part of the job.

The job involves:

- Working with B2B clients (American travel agents) on proposals through to confirmation, followed by the logistical/operational organization of the journey,

- Management of services with local providers all over France and Monaco - negotiation and confirmation of services; administrational follow up and payments,

- Customer invoicing and accounts monitoring of files: precise and regular checking of customer & supplier budgets and advances,

- Reconciliation and final invoicing.

The job also involves regular telephone on-call duty for on-the-ground supervising of customer trips (emergencies only), rotating within the team.
