Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Lead Category Manager for a public sector-based organisation in Surrey. It's an exciting time to be joining the business where you can really make an impact.

3 days on-site and 2 from home.

Role Overview

This is a role for an experienced Lead Category Manager who will come in to lead specific strategic sourcing and category-related initiatives for defined projects impacting all stages of the Procurement life cycle for a number of business organisations.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead a portfolio of category initiatives ensuring contract compliance.
  2. Implement sustainable cost improvements.
  3. Deliver a range of benefits associated with the procurement of Category services and products.
  4. Work closely with procurement teams to ensure cohesive strategies in the delivery of products and services.
Qualifications

Looking for someone with CIPS level 5 or higher or equivalent, and good category management experience gained within the public sector or NHS.
