Lead Maintenance Engineer is a new role within a high volume processing plant who produces products for the agri-food sector. They have customers across the UK and Ireland and supply into various sectors and this diversification and investment has created the need for a focus on preventative maintenance for future product demand. Your new role
Reporting to the engineering manager, you will focus more on preventative and improvement maintenance. This involves analysing problems to come up with a long term fix and reducing instances of breakdown through improved PM system or improved actions and materials used. You'll report on issues and propose small projects and deliver them as the company commits to investing where there is long-term payback.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need electrical and mechanical maintenance skills and the ability to analyse breakdowns to root cause level and devise plans to improve them. Being able to prioritise jobs and see through to completion. Communication with equipment and material suppliers
What you'll get in return
This is a days based role with a flexible starting time, offering £45000 to £50000 basic salary plus overtime, standard company pension, 30 days potential leave and possibly some bonus potential to be discussed.
