Job Description

As a Bid Manager, you'll coordinate proposal development and manage service contracts within the Managed Services and Outsourcing/DataCenter hosting team. Your role involves orchestrating cross-departmental efforts to deliver compliant, high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and deadlines.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate proposal development across Sales, technical, Finance, legal, and subcontractor teams to meet client needs and timelines.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring compliance and professional quality.
  • Facilitate bid/no-bid decision-making processes.
  • Coach proposal writers in persuasive writing techniques.
  • Manage proposal templates, ensuring alignment with company branding.
  • Edit technical content for clarity and compliance, enhancing readability without altering intent.
  • Respond promptly and clearly to client inquiries or requests for clarification.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of all proposal documents.
  • Track and report on proposal outcomes to assess business development performance.
  • Maintain the business development document management system, including resumes, project descriptions, standard proposal sections, graphics, and photos.
  • Negotiate and manage service contracts effectively.

Skills
  • Proven experience in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals within complex business environments.
  • Skilled in organizing and leading proposal kick-off meetings, storyboarding sessions, and review meetings.
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening and effective presenting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and M365.
  • Strong negotiation abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a track record of delivering client solutions and achieving goals.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Ability to provide a clean criminal record upon successful application.
