Management Accountant - FTC

SWARCO has an amazing opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the Finance team on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing month end activities, being a Business Partner to Indirect Cost Centres, performing full balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting the annual audit process. This role is a Hybrid role with the requirement for 60% office based in Basingstoke and 40% home based.

• Responsible for month end close activities
• Timely reporting and business partnering of indirect cost centres
• Budget and forecasting of indirect cost centres
• Assisting in delivering timely and accurate reporting (P/L and BS)
• Preparing full and timely Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Assisting in audit and statutory accounts process
• Fixed assets and IFRS 16 reporting
• Monitoring and keeping track of lease agreements and dilapidation provisions
• Collate monthly MBR pack slides for distribution two working days in advance of MBR meeting
• Documenting and maintaining the finance processes (including process flows)
• Seeking efficiency and automation through continuous improvement
• Contribute to wider team knowledge sharing

• Part Qualified or Finalist (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
• Team player
• Good knowledge and use of IT
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills
• Ability to present data clearly
• Sound knowledge of key finance principles
• Working knowledge of SAP

• Ability to commute to the Basingstoke office a minimum of 3 days per week
