Job Description
Management accountant - Kent Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to create budgets, monitor performance against targets, and provide insightful analysis. Variance Analysis: Investigate and explain any discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures. Cost Control: Monitor costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend improvements. Month-End Close: Ensure timely and accurate month-end processes. Client Interaction: Work closely with clients, providing financial advice and support. What you'll need to succeed
Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in management accounting. Technical Skills: Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. What you'll get in return
