Management Accountant

Reed Accountancy & Finance are excited to offer a temporary Management Accountant position on behalf of our esteemed client based in Cranbrook. The ideal candidate will be immediately available to join the team and contribute to the financial success of the organisation.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Analysis of financial performance and contribution to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
• Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
• Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
• Assisting with budget preparation and control, plus variance analysis.
• Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues to provide a support service to the company's finance department and business managers.
• Overseeing tax and compliance, ensuring all statutory and corporate obligations are met.

• Proven experience in a Management Accountant role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is desirable.
