Management Accountant (Study support included) - Witney based

Your new company
An opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified/QBE Management Accountant to join a dynamic company based in Witney. The purpose of this role, is to prepare all accounting information and work alongside the Finance Director to create accurate reporting. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are looking to complete their CIMA or ACCA. Additionally, as you progress throughout the role, there will also be further development opportunities.
Your new role

  • Processing invoices, ensuring the related transactions are reflected accurately in Xero
  • Daily management of c.10 bank accounts (various currencies), including processing any outgoing payments promptly.
  • Manage the weekly payment run, including payments to suppliers, refunds to clients, general bill payments and agent commission invoices, ensuring payment advice emails are sent to all suppliers and operators
  • Manage a weekly cashflow reporting process
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts on a weekly basis
  • Manage employee expenses
  • Credit control for all bookings, sending balance reminders, chasing when overdue
  • Reconciliation of credit card statements
  • Posting journal
  • Management of the fixed asset register
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of the monthly Management Accounts
  • Assist with preparing and compiling information for the external accountants to prepare statutory accounts.
  • Assist the Finance Director with strategic projects and ad-hoc tasks, as required.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in a similar role is preferable.
  • Looking for either an AAT Lvl 4 studier, ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or QBE
  • Proficiency with Xero is preferable
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • A team player, with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and effective problem-solving skills
