Management Accountant

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Location: Deeside

Sector: Manufacturing

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for the company according to the periodic timetable.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on results.
• Periodically review and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and submit overseas direct and indirect tax returns, liaising with external tax advisors as needed.
• Conduct commercial appraisals for new and existing business ventures.
• Ensure all entries are appropriately coded and processed efficiently and accurately.
• Facilitate, coordinate, and deliver annual budgets and forecasts for areas of responsibility.

Skills, Experience and Qualities

• Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, QBE or equivalent
• Manufacturing experience in SME's
• Sage 200 and knowledge of Sicon Manufacturing (Sage manufacturing bolt-on)
• SQL / BI knowledge - creating reports would be advantageous.
• Able to challenge production and produce month end reports with commentary
