Manager of Application Services

Job Overview

The Manager of Application Services is responsible for delivering high-quality IT services, optimizing costs, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Key duties include managing service providers, overseeing system configurations and tests, and ensuring solution consistency across systems. This role also focuses on continuous improvement of IT services, documentation, audit coordination, disaster recovery planning, and patch management. Additionally, the manager leads a team, addresses personnel needs, and identifies training requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's, Diploma, or Master's in Computer Science or a related field
10+ years of experience in Application Support and Services
Strong SAP module experience (SD, JIT/JIS, PP, WM) - SAP modules (SD, JIT/JIS, PP, WM)
Experience in team leadership and project management
Familiarity with IT Service Management and IT Security (preferred)
Understanding of automotive industry processes
Proven experience in managing service providers
Excellent communication skills in English
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
