A prestigious UK law firm with a strong international presence is seeking a Managing Associate (4+ PQE) to join their highly regarded Employment Law team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with a particular focus on high-profile litigation.

The Role:

As a Managing Associate, you will play a key role in advising clients on a full range of employment law matters, with a strong emphasis on contentious work, including managing complex Employment Tribunal claims. You will also provide strategic advice on non-contentious employment matters, including corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and workforce restructuring.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handling a broad range of employment disputes, including discrimination, whistleblowing, and unfair dismissal claims.
2. Managing high-value Employment Tribunal cases and advising on employment litigation strategy.
3. Advising clients on non-contentious matters, such as business reorganisations, TUPE, and executive exits.
4. Supporting corporate teams on employment aspects of M&A transactions and other commercial deals.
5. Supervising and mentoring junior associates and contributing to business development initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. 4+ years PQE with significant experience in employment litigation.
2. Strong experience gained at a City or international law firm, working on high-profile contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
3. A proven track record of managing complex tribunal claims and providing strategic employment advice to corporate clients.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients across different jurisdictions.
5. A team player with strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor junior lawyers.
