Team Responsibilities
The Annalect EMEA Solutions team manages our client engagement. Our team identifies opportunities for client growth fuelled by data, technology and analytics, frames solutions and leads our client relationships.
Role Summary
Annalect EMEA are looking for a Managing Director to realise our ambition for the Annalect EMEA Solutions team to deliver exemplary client engagement, enabling our clients to transform their Data, Technology & Analytics (DTA) capabilities, driving client satisfaction and significant revenue growth for Annalect EMEA as a result. This specific Managing Director role will have a specific focus on driving client growth through current and potential client relationships.
Client Solutions is the mould between the sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams. They are the tunnel through these teams, ensuring that everyone involved is working towards the same goal of maintaining client satisfaction. They are responsible for certifying that the client's needs are met, and that the client is happy with the services they receive.
Key Responsibilities
The Managing Director is responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, making sure that they are experts of the client's business and industry. They collaborate closely with pre-sales, sales, and service delivery teams, helping to identify new opportunities for Annalect business growth, and driving value for the client.
Client leadership & management
- Oversee their team's successful completion of client deliverables and achievement of quarterly targets across the Annalect client portfolio, as detailed in each client's Workstreams Plan.
- You will lead a team of data and analytics professionals, and also directly work with key client stakeholders to help define the business problem and determine solution requirements.
- Drive the value derived from, and maturity of, our clients' DTA roadmaps, including Omni usage.
- Lead and manage our client, agency and partner relationships and communications, including supporting Specialist teams in successful delivery of projects.
- Ensure all the Solutions team's client, Omnicom, partner and external communications are aligned to the global Annalect and Omni narrative.
- Coordinate updates on client booked and forecasted revenues, including fortnightly commercial review meetings.
- Support Finance team on tracking of Annalect EMEA team member utilisation and profitability.
Business development & client growth
- Manage the Annalect leads pipeline.
- Define and manage a roadmap of business development activities to increase our prospective client pool.
- Identify opportunities, take briefs, create solutions/scopes (with Specialist teams), negotiate and land DTA-based growth opportunities across your client portfolio.
- Support and coach Solutions team to network, build relationships, identify, scope and land growth opportunities across their own client portfolios.
- Support the Specialist teams leads in the creation and management of a regional/global prospecting and growth plan for each Specialist team's capabilities.
- Manage Annalect's contribution to specific OMC/OMG/Annalect pitches.
- Post pitch wins, support Specialist teams during transition periods.
- Manage maintenance of Client Growth Plans across your client portfolio, aligned with OMG Growth Plans.
- Help manage the EMEA GTM Community, which will provide guidance and assets to help the local Annalect EMEA teams set, deliver and report against their capability revenue targets. This will include a bi-annual report on progress against the community's SMART goals.
Capability design & development
- Lead GTM and opportunity identification within Omnicom across our core capabilities.
- Support Capability Communities on creation of differentiating value propositions, accompanying narratives and competitive pricing frameworks for capabilities and underlying services.
- Collate, organise and share client capability feedback with Capability Communities.
- Support SLT on key commercial initiatives to grow Annalect (e.g. optimising our distributed workforce).
- You will work with client's business stakeholders to understand key business questions, challenges, and information needs, and help develop an analytics roadmap that identifies and prioritizes key analytics use cases for execution.
Network collaboration
- Build strong relationships and be a key ambassador with key contacts in Annalect Global, EMEA local markets and regional agencies.
- Manage agency relationships across your client portfolio via regular status meetings/reports, QBRs and Client plan.
- Support the Annalect EMEA Network team in the identification and dissemination of bizdev opportunities from EMEA and EMEA-based Global clients to local Annalect EMEA market teams (and oversight of delivery from EMEA Hub if no local resource available).
Team
- Manage and inspire their team to do great work.
- Manage their team's talent activities (including recruitment, retention, upskilling, career progression) to optimise their team's performance.
- Ensure their team has, and can apply, a broad, generalist knowledge of all Annalect capabilities and Omni apps, including being able to demo Omni apps.
- Participate in team building initiatives, coaching senior team members to take the lead on key initiatives.
- Manage a large 3 figure onshore and offshore capability.
- Run a large multi-disciplinary team across audience, analytics, reporting and operations.
Marketing
- Support global Marketing efforts to grow awareness of Annalect and Omni across the EMEA region, including identifying and creating client advocacy content.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has significant client-facing experience within the area of data-driven marketing. They have worked in analytics, ad tech, digital or a data-specific role, ideally in a multi-client environment (e.g., agency or consultancy).
- Has shown leadership credentials in progressive thinking within marketing.
- Has a genuine passion for data-driven marketing, how it can drive real impact for a client's business and for every consumer's experience.
- Has experience in selling digital solutions in advertising, tech, data or other solutions.
- Is highly organised and able to project manage multiple projects with multiple matrix teams.
- Is a great communicator, and relationship-builder, able to gain the trust of both clients and colleagues.
- Enjoys working in a dynamic environment, networking, and building new relationships.
- Is a pragmatic thinker.
- Is keen to learn and be conversant in latest innovations in data-driven marketing.
