Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - £45,000

Your new role
Working as part of the shift team, you will be responsible for providing a prompt and efficient service which fully supports our customer's needs. You will be expected to collaborate with your team members and the Help Desk to ensure compliance and efficiency by providing proactive, professional and focussed support with both PPM's and reactive maintenance. Your main duties will include:
Work on a wide range of M+E Building services including but not limited to: Mechanical installation, Motors, Pumps, Heating and ventilation, Air conditioning (Splits), Air Handing Plant (replacing filters and belts), Pressurisation systems, Fan Coil Units (cleaning and changing filters), BMS System (Trend 963), Plumbing and water hygiene tasks.
Water treatment including de-scaling, temperature recording and flushing regimes.
Carry out PPM's & reactive works on Mechanical systems, Plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, fault-finding and diagnosis on control systems to a variety of facilities around the site. Lifting and moving equipment, supplies/delivery and some basic carpentry, painting and decorating as required.
All shift engineers will work a 07:30-15:30 & 09:30 -17:30 shift (37.5 hours per week) with one Saturday per month included in their rota (30 mins Lunch Break unpaid).
On Call rota, which is 1 in 4 Standard £100, 6 hours at double time if called out.
What you'll need to succeed

L8 cert

NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical engineering

Can Fault-find on FCUs/AHU/s (not just do PPMs)

Has got PPM experience on Chillers.
