Position: Mechanical Supervisor (Temporary/Contract/Freelance)
Location: Nottinghamshire
Rate:
Umbrella: Up to £350 per day
PAYE: Up to £260 per day basic pay plus holiday
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our client's team on a temporary, contract, or freelance basis. Our client, a leading M&E Contractor in the building services market, is looking for a professional who can oversee and manage mechanical installations and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Management: Oversee mechanical installation and maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

Project Coordination: Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within the overall project.

Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Health and Safety: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.

Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project, implementing effective solutions promptly.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress reports to the project manager and client.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in the building services market.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant certifications and qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
