Do you want to work for an inspiring and expanding service within CAMHS? If so then we would love to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner who is keen to apply their skills across a range of settings to help young people in crisis.

The role will be variable and exciting, sometimes challenging and there is a need for flexibility but it is always very interesting and rewarding. Excellent risk assessment and safety planning skills are essential to this role and you will be well supported to develop your ability in these areas.

This is a unique opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge within an established Trust, with an agency that cares about you and offers round the clock support.

Main duties of the job

You will be supporting young people and their carers who are presenting in mental health crisis across a range of settings including; General Hospitals, CAMHS Offices, online/ via phone and occasionally at home.

What we need from you:
Past experience as a qualified mental health practitioner
Experience as a care co-ordinator
CAMHS experience or crisis care experience
You will need to be motivated, forward thinking and have a strong commitment to providing high quality care to provide the best outcomes for young people
Minimum 1 year NHS experience
A current NMC pin
