Job Title: Microsoft Licensing and Data Governance Consultant

Location: Luton - Hybrid 3 days onsite

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Licensing and Data Governance Consultant to support a digital transformation initiative leveraging Microsoft technologies. This role focuses on licensing optimisation, data governance, and compliance, delivering impactful solutions that drive efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Licensing Optimisation

• Evaluate, deploy, and optimise Microsoft licensing features, including upgrades to E5 and other advanced licensing tiers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and maximise the value of Microsoft technology investments.
• Provide strategic guidance on licensing compliance, renewals, and contract negotiations.

Data Governance & Compliance

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks and operating models aligned with business objectives.
• Assess data structures, storage solutions, and usage to improve governance, security, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or other industry-specific requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

Microsoft Licensing Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft licensing models, including Microsoft 365, E5, and other enterprise offerings.
Cost Optimisation: Proven ability to implement cost-effective licensing solutions while enhancing operational efficiency.
Data Governance & Compliance: Experience designing and deploying data governance models to improve data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
Data Management & Structure: Ability to analyse, assess, and optimise data structures and storage solutions to enhance governance and performance.
