Midweight Copywriter
Posted 24 days 23 hours ago by MOO group
MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we've come a long way since. Today we're a 400 + strong team (we're thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes - from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.
Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you'll find us in Boston, MA, as well as East Providence, RI and Denver, CO.
We're making new and exciting things - and we could really do with your help.
MOO's creative team brings our brand to life across all channels and beyond. We're responsible for ensuring everything looks, sounds, and feels consistent - and consistently brilliant. We're getting busier, and now we need a new copywriter to join our team. You'll be responsible for crafting the words that bring our brand and products to life. Working closely with designers, photographers, fellow copywriters, and art workers, you'll add personality, wit, and an undeniable sense of MOOness to everything we create.
You're a versatile and creative copywriter, equally comfortable generating big ideas and refining the finer details. You bring fresh thinking, curiosity, and strategic insight to every brief, ensuring your work is both engaging and commercially effective. With agency or in-house experience, you're confident collaborating with stakeholders and balancing creative ambition with business objectives. Your projects will span all MOO channels and brand experiences.
What you will bring:- 4+ years' experience in a creative agency or in-house brand team.
- A strong conceptual mindset, with a portfolio showcasing creative and engaging copy across multiple channels.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with an eye for tone, clarity, and brand consistency.
- A collaborative approach, supporting and inspiring others while continuing to learn and grow.
- A keen eye for opportunities to infuse wit, personality, and brand voice into every project.
- Write compelling, on-brand copy across web, email, social, direct mail, PR, and more.
- Develop creative ideas and campaign concepts, transforming briefs into engaging content.
- Work closely with designers and fellow creatives to produce high-quality work.
- Ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and business goals across all channels.
- Present and articulate ideas, gaining stakeholder confidence in your creative approach.
- Continuously refine and evolve the brand's tone of voice.
- A natural storyteller with an engaging and benefit-driven writing style.
- Creative and strategic, able to think beyond the brief to find the best solutions.
- Highly organised, managing multiple projects and deadlines with ease.
- A team player, eager to collaborate, learn, and share ideas.
- Detail-focused, ensuring grammar, tone, and messaging are always on point.
- A portfolio that showcases fresh, engaging, and impactful writing.
- Balance of campaign + editorial experience.
