Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Field and Customer Service) - Technical Architect

Hybrid role with 2 to 3 days at the office per week based in Birmingham.

What can you expect from this role?

You will be working with Dynamics 365 CRM and Power platform solution and technical architecture, solution development, delivery and configuration for Cognizant's public sector customers.

What will you be doing?

Your responsibilities include the below - not are not restricted to it:

  • You will analyse the client's business, develope an understanding of their business objectives, & identify efficient ways D365/CRM will add value to their business.
  • You will understand our customer's intent and existing architecture and propose the best possible solutions to their business problems. This involves, designing the TDD and FDD documents.
  • You will work on individual delivery items as well as manage task assignment/delivery/troubleshooting/peer reviews were applicable.
  • You will maintain a best practice guidance for the team and overall project deliverables.
  • You will work on the planning & execution of the implementation of the CRM developments, providing regular progress updates to internal & external stakeholders.

What skills and experience do you need to be considered for this opportunity?

  • You are an expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and specifically Field and Customer Service. This involves:
    1. Experience of designing and developing Dynamics 365 CRM.
    2. Hands-on experience in configuration, customization and extension of Dynamics CRM.
    3. Performance tuning possibilities in Dynamics 365 implementations.
  • You will have experience of Power Platform development: Power Apps Portals, Model-Driven/ Canvas Applications, Microsoft Dataverse and Power Automate.
  • You will have experience of working with SQL Server 2008, or above, with custom report experience through SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and FetchXML.
  • You should have a hands-on experience of programming and coding, most specifically in the following:
    1. .NET Framework Version 4.5, or above, including strong WCF Web API experience and C#
    2. OOPS concepts.
    3. Knowledge of Web development in HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, Javascript and SQL.

It will be a bonus if you have experience in the following as well:

  • Microsoft Azure.
  • Data integration and data migration projects.
  • Power BI Reporting.
