Your new company
You will be working for a large manufacturing company based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
Your new role
Within this role you will be expected to deliver preventative maintenance (ppm) activities alongside reactive breakdowns of the machinery. You will aim to ensure that all machinery and services are routinely maintained in line with operational requirements. Within this role you will deliver on electrical tasks and be able to fault find, but also be able to perform repairs on mechanical systems such as pumps, valves, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics and perform these tasks when required.
Key responsibilities will include:

Perform reactive and preventative maintenance

Repair and diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues with machinery

Adhering to health and safety protocols

Continuous improvement of maintenance procedures

Helping to improve planned maintenance activities to reduce machinery downtime

Liaising and assisting with maintenance colleagues and supporting apprentices

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need to have both electrical and mechanical maintenance skills, where an understanding of using PLC systems and fault-finding is essential. Strong candidates will have either HND, HNC OR OND within an electrical/mechanical or similar related maintenance field. Strong candidates for this role will be those who have both electrical and mechanical skills as well as experience with CNC, although CNC experience is not essential
