Neighbourhood Officer required in St. Helens (temp)

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Neighbourhood Officer on behalf of a well-established housing association based in Merseyside, who are looking for support until the end of October with hourly rates up to £21.96 per hour.
You'll be responsible for delivering a wide range of housing and tenancy management across a designated patch of housing stock in your area, ensuring neighbourhoods are clean, safe and well managed, whilst delivering estate inspections, identifying improvements and investigating breaches of tenancy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carrying out tenancy management duties such as unauthorised occupation, tenancy fraud, relationship breakdowns and failures to allow access.
  • Accompanied viewings, tenancy audits and reviews, exchange inspections and may attend evictions
  • Actively mange a caseload of anti-social behaviour and other tenancy breaches, triaging all cases in line with company standards
  • Supporting customers to sustain their tenancies by carrying out assessments of need, liaising with the tenancy sustainment & income teams, signposting and referring where appropriate
  • Prepare and service notices for breaches of tenancy where appropriate
  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels within your patch through excellent case management and multi-agency work
What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience of managing housing stock and knowledge of current housing legislation with the ability to research where required
  • Experience of managing ASB, nuisance and other tenancy breaches
  • Ability to manage professional relationships with tenants including challenging non-compliance and low to medium support needs
  • Access to your own vehicle with valid business insurance
