Network Access Consultant (GPON/XGSPON and Networking Specialist) - 2 Year Contract - Outside IR35

One of my clients, a leading global Cisco Gold Partner, is currently seeking a Network Access Consultant for a 2-year initial contract. This role will be a mix of Network Access Design, Implementation, and Operations.

Contract Details:

• Day Rate: £475PD - £530PD
• Location: Buckinghamshire or Warrington
• Contract: Outside IR35, 2 years initial duration
• Start: ASAP
• Customer Site: Yes (Hybrid working)

Must-Have Skills:

• GPON/XGSPON Expertise: In-depth knowledge of GPON/XGSPON.
• Equipment Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Atran/Cisco/Juniper/Nokia OLT.
• Access Network Service Improvement: Ability to develop, implement and test strategies for improving access network services.
• Gigabit CPE: Experience with layer 2 and layer 3 gigabit customer premises equipment.
• Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage infrastructure as code.

Our client is looking for someone with direct hands-on experience with GPON and XGSPON with sufficient networking experience.
