Network Engineer - UK Central Government (Defence)

Role: Network Engineer Contract Length: Until 31st March 2024 Location: Hereford (full-time onsite with potential UK-wide travel) Pay Rate: £550 per day IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Key Requirements:

• CCNP Enterprise certification (essential)
• 3+ years' experience supporting complex campus area (CAN) and wide area (WAN) networks (essential)
• Experience with IP cryptography, Linux OS, and network logging/analysis tools (desirable)
• Familiarity with Splunk or Elastic for network support, reporting, and alerting (desirable)

Additional Skills:

• Strong technical competency and experience supporting production networks
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of working within military structures
• Team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
