A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing business. You will be working closely with our Technical Director, performing systems maintenance for all our clients, acting as an escalation point for the Service Desk for 3rd Line Support tickets, and carrying out project delivery. Previous experience working within an MSP is highly desirable for this role and you will be expected to hitting the ground running.

You will also gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and eventually progress into consultancy and the opportunity to learn and develop is massive as this business will invest in your development.

The company operates a Hybrid working environment - 3 days a week - the office is busiest on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday however which days you attend are up to you.

Key Skills:

• Cisco (CCNP Desirable)
• Fortinet - Fortigate Firewalls (NSE 4 desirable)
• LAN/WAN Experience
• Datacentre connectivity
• 3rd Line Escalations

Key Responsibilities:

• Systems Management (40%)
• Identification of improvements to network systems
• Monitoring of production networks
• Hardware and firmware upgrades
• Writing and implementing RFC's
• Creation and maintenance of documentation

3rd Line Support (40%)

• Troubleshooting and solving complex incidents and escalations
• Monitoring and fixing of networking alerts
• Root cause analysis and reporting of network trends
• Major incident resolution
• Service requests / BAU Firewall configuration / network switch configuration
• On-call support rota (1 in 5) home-based when on call.

Project Work (20%)

• Delivery of small projects
• Datacentre and client site deployments
• Submitting and executing detailed change requests
