Job DescriptionNursing Home ManagerSalary: £50,000 - £55,000We are looking for an experienced and passionate Nursing Home Manager to oversee two small services dedicated to providing exceptional care for younger adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) to make a real impact in a leadership role, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently maintained across both services.Qualifications and Experience:
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification, with a valid UK NMC Pin.
  • Nursing Home Manager experience is highly desirable.
  • We will also consider an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager ready for a step up in their career.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including CQC standards.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities across two services.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of two services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in line with regulatory standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalised care plans for younger adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as CQC standards.
  • Supervise and support the nursing and care teams, providing guidance, leadership, and professional development opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively across both services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with legal and organisational policies.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within both services.
